Dual-shaft cosmic clock. The gears always count days. The physics/date panel only
reads that state and explains what it means in GR, sidereal drift, and light-time.

Epoch for this mechanism is fixed at J2000 ≈ 2000-01-01 (noon UTC).
You can: (1) enter a calendar date, (2) jump the gears to that Δt,
then (3) convert that Δt into GR, sidereal drift, and light-time.
Reset brings the machine back to epoch with all clutches engaged.
Current Δt = 0.00 years
1) Turn the handle or use “Move Gears to Date”.
2) Click Convert Days → Physics to see small tables comparing CST vs GR, sidereal drift, and light-time.
3) Use “Reset Gears to Epoch” to return the mechanism to day 0 and re-engage clutches.
